What's AMGadget BASIC?
AMGadget BASIC is a convenient freeware that allows its user to install essential softwares easily by simply clicking. There is NO NEED for you to literally comb the internet for the software download. Everything is compacted into this useful program!
Why do I need AMGadget BASIC?
Being a software of convenience, it speeds up the installation process for a number of useful softwares and NO TIME is wasted, as compared to clicking on each software installation icon individually. You will find it exceptionally useful when you just completed reformatting your computer and (i) has no idea what to install next; (ii) just plain lazy to manually download the softwares. Also, even if you did not reformat your computer, you may find this useful for tapping into a number of useful software that you never knew existed in the first place.
How do I use it?
As the program is in .iso format (image file), (i) you need to burn the file directly into your CD-R or DVD-R or; (ii) you can mount the image file using a virtual drive; (iii) or just simply use WinRAR.
Instructions for installation using the above methods
(i) Burning into CD-R or DVD-R
- You need a CD-R/DVD-R... drive and a recorder program (e.g. Nero Burning ROM)
- After downloading the .iso file, use the recorder and select the image file to be burnt directly onto the recordable/rewritable disc
- Upon completion, you can insert the disc anytime and the program will be able to autorun
(ii) Mounting using a virtual drive
- You need virtual drive software like Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% or Virtual CloneDrive
- Use the program and mount the .iso file that you have downloaded
- The program will autorun
(iii) Using WinRAR
- Note that the program will not autorun if you use WinRAR
- Just open up the .iso file and search for "AMGadget BASIC 1.0.exe" and double click on it
- The program will start running
Is the program safe to use?
Yes, it is very safe to use! But as a safety measure and good security practice, always scan for the file that you download from the internet. You can use an online file scanner or your own anti-virus scanner to check for potential threats.
